Critical and costly repairs are necessary to renovate Chenoa Manor's 200 year-old barn
Chenoa Manor's primary structure — our 200 year-old bank barn — is in urgent need of repairs. Help ensure the safety of our animals, and preserve a piece of history, by making a donation to Chenoa Manor's Barn Renovation Fund.
Since Chenoa Manor's inception in 2003, fencing has been erected, pastures maintained, run-in structures built, and some smaller barns rehabilitated. During the past year we were also able to build a larger environment for our rabbit residents with an enclosed warren, install a small pond for waterfowl, and erect two additional run-in sheds in the cow pasture.
Now Chenoa Manor is taking on the most ambitious project in our organization's history: the renovation of our 200-year-old, three-story stone bank barn. By making a donation to Chenoa Manor's Barn Renovation Fund, you'll help us save this historic building, while providing a permanent shelter for our animals.
Our goals for the bank barn project:
- Offer a safe, permanent shelter for the animals, including individual and group stalls and additional isolation areas for special needs residents.
- Allow members of our youth programs to safely interact with the animals regardless of weather.
- Provide a creative environment for youth program participants through a dedicated space for farm-inspired murals and other free-standing works of art.
Help us meet our goal of raising $200,000 by making a donation to our Barn Renovation Fund.
And now, through the extreme generosity of a Chenoa Manor supporter, your donation to our Barn Renovation fund will be MATCHED dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000!
Your donation will work twice as hard with this incredible matching contribution - but we need your help to put us over the top.
